He was born in 1985 as the second son of Ukon Miyake, a holder of Important Intangible Cultural Property. He began his training under his father, and his grandfather was the late Ninth-Generation Tōkurō Miyake, a Living National Treasure.

He made his stage debut at the age of three in Kōjitawara. Since then, he has performed many of the most demanding and prestigious works in the Kyogen repertoire, including Sanbasō, Tsurigitsune, Kanaoka, and Hanago.

In addition to his career as a Kyogen performer, he has produced collaborative projects that bring together Kyogen with Rakugo and musical theatre, creating new opportunities for audiences to experience traditional Japanese performing arts.

He is also deeply involved in Sign Language Kyogen, personally using Japanese Sign Language while instructing members of the Japanese Theatre of the Deaf. Furthermore, he appears as the Ai-kyōgen (interlude performer) in Sign Language Noh productions, contributing to the accessibility and continued development of Noh theatre.

He is a member of the Japan Nohgaku Association.
